3/8/2017 AQHA red dun gelding, approx. 14.1-2hh.

This sweet guy has been brought along slowly and correctly. Eli excels in western/ranch events, has a solid stop, spin, rollback, and has been started successfully on a lead change. Eli has shown successfully in the ranch reining, ranch riding, and ranch trail.

He has  fox hunted a full season and a half with Rappahannock Hunt and is generally a kick ride, but is more happily forward on the trail and in the hunt field. Can be ridden by advance beginners in the arena, and intermediate on up on the trail and out hunting (only because he’s young and needs a bit of reassurance from his rider at times, although mostly as quiet as can be). Eli self-loads, stands tied all day, loves to be groomed and body-clipped, stands on the cross ties for the farrier and overall just loves attention. Up to date on all vaccines, just had his teeth done, very easy keeper.

Eli has spent a lot of time around cattle, however has not been started on any cow work, but is absolutely ready to do so. He could also go the hunter route and will be started over fences soon, although has happily jumped over small logs on the trail and out hunting. I bred and raised this boy and I’m going to be sad to see him go, that’s why I’ll only sell to the best of homes where he will be loved and have a job.
