Hunted 5 seasons with Genesee Valley Hunt and an occasional outing with Rose Tree-Blue Mountain Hunt
He has mostly hunted by juniors first and second. Bold and honest alone, good with whip and hounds. Very capable of whipping in.
Harris has hunted 5 full seasons totaling over 60 hunts.
Green but willing over fences, does well with 3' and under coops. 2'6 and under post and rails.
Harris is quite calm and relaxed during a hunt but likes to go. Stands well at checks, walks quietly. Hunts in a snaffle and martingale.
Harris is a great little horse, we've really enjoyed having him in the barn. While many guests have hunted him, his primary person is off to start her first real job and won't have the time to keep him going. He is an easy keeper, good guy for turn out, hacks out alone or in company, willing but clueless in the ring. Harris is a gentleman for bathes, clipping, the vet and the farrier. His price reflects his greenness over fences. I believe he will come around quickly with proper schooling.
