Valor is a 6 year old, 16.1 hand TB gelding. So far, in 2019, he walked hounds numerous times this summer and has hunted 10 times with the Metamora Hunt in Michigan. Valor will follow any horse quietly and has done great in Hilltoppers and Second Flight. He hunted First flight twice and did wonderfully well on admittedly quiet mornings. His experience is limited, but he gives every indication that he enjoys hunting and will be a superb long-term mount for someone. He is stabled 2 miles from the Metamora Hunt Kennels, and we'll continue hunting him with the Metamora Hounds until he's sold.

This year, Valor also completed two Hunter Paces, won his first Beginner Novice event, and placed in both USEA Novice level events he did. He's a clean, safe jumper at 3 feet, with plenty of scope for more. He's a very steady, composed fellow with a wonderful demeanor. He loads, clips, baths, and will stand tied to the trailer with or without company. Valor has done all of his hound and hunting work in a bitless bridle, although he goes quietly in a snaffle too.

Valor competed in the 2019 RRP Thoroughbred Makeover at the Kentucky Horse Park and finished 8th of 26 starters in the Field Hunter division as well as 12th of 126 starters in Dressage. He will make a wonderful mount for someone who wants to event, fox hunt and trail ride.

Valor had a complete (clean) set of radiographs of front feet, front fetlocks and hocks done in July 2019 that are available for review by interested buyers.
