Apollo has a quiet, sweet personality and is a lovely mover with a naturally relaxed way of going. He is on the lazy side rather than forward, making him an enjoyable partner for someone who appreciates a steady ride.
Apollo loves hitting the trails and has spent the past season in Camden Hunt country. He has hunted a full season with the Camden Hunt, comfortably going in both Second and Third Field, and has even taken his turn leading the field on occasion. At home, he was regularly ridden out alone and is very confident riding by himself as well as with other horses.
Apollo has been jumped around 2’6” and has been introduced to cross-country jumping, taking to it well. He has a solid foundation and plenty of potential to continue developing in a variety of disciplines.
Apollo is best suited for an intermediate rider who can provide quiet, confident guidance when he is unsure. In return, you’ll have a kind, willing partner that enjoys having a job and has the temperament to excel as a trail horse, foxhunter, event prospect, or all-around pleasure mount.
