DUNLUCE CASTLE
16.2 hand, 12 year old (2008) imported Irish Thoroughbred gelding.
He has hunted here for 3 seasons in Virginia with Warrenton and Rappahanock and also in SC around Aiken.
He has gone in all 3 fields.
Dunluce is a handsome, head turning horse with uncommon presence. Has even been loaned to the huntsman when the huntsman's horse was tired.
He has also led all 3 fields in addition to being a follower in all 3.
Could be a staff horse, great with hounds. Like many TB's he can get strong hunting, but he is sane. Will jump around a course in the ring with a teenage student. Jumps well, great mover, very handsome horse! Athletic and sweet horse. Will do best with a rider who has experience with TB's off the track as he is fast and capable. He isn't silly. Excellent prospect for a good rider wanting a good horse. Not the horse to learn to hunt on. Brave not spooky. He’s comfortable jumping all fences encountered on our Virginia hunts with first field.
No vices, sound, good to be around. Nice to handle. Trailers well. Healthy and good for vet and farrier.
