Kit Kat is a versatile, athletic Thoroughbred with a big personality looking for his next partner. Standing 15.2 hands and 8 years old, he has experience fox hunting, cross-country, and trail riding. He confidently crosses water, bridges, and other trail obstacles and is not spooky or looky, making him a dependable partner in new environments.
Kit Kat has proven himself to be a versatile horse in the hunting field. He has fox hunted both in the field and as a whip, handling each job well. He trailers quietly, is happy to ride alone or in a group, and is not buddy sour.
In the arena, Kit Kat is easy to ride at the walk, trot, and canter. He becomes more enthusiastic when it’s time to jump, showing plenty of scope, confidence, and a willingness to tackle anything you point him at. He is very athletic and will jump anything in front of him. Because of his natural talent and ability, I believe he would excel in a eventing, or fox hunting home.
Kit Kat is best suited for a more experienced rider who can appreciate his energetic personality and continue his education. When he gets excited, he can be playful and, on rare occasions, may throw a small buck, typically outside of the arena. This is not malicious—it’s simply part of his playful personality. Kit Kat thrives in a consistent working program, and I believe that with regular work, this playful behavior disappears.
