PRINCE
2016 13.2 1/2h pony gelding
Prince is ready to take on and advance his next partner. In the past 3 years Prince has taken my daughter from Pony Club D-2 to C-1. He has foxhunted with De La Brooke Fox Hounds all 3 years from 1st to 3rd Field, though he very much prefers a faster field. We got Prince from a fox hunting barn where he hunted for the two years prior. He has evented up to BN recognized and schooled Novice. He's competed in Pony Club eventing, show Jumping tretathalon, dressage, attended Pony Club Championships for eventing and tretathalon, clinics in mounted games and polocross. He loves a good bareback trail ride to the beach and to go for a swim.
Prince is not for a true beginner (more of an advanced beginner) as he is forward, especially outside the arena, out fox hunting, and over jumps. He has brakes, but will do best with a rider who knows a good half halt and is confident with some speed. Prince does best when kept consistently ridden.
Tricks include fist bumps, kisses, fetch. He is a very smart guy!
Prince is good to tie, load, trailer, get clipped and stand for the farrier. Prince has front shoes. He does have allergies that cause him itchiness in late summer and so we manage it with allergy shots.
