Sun Viking “Elio” is an athletic Thoroughbred gelding with experience fox hunting and eventing. He came off the track in 2025 after being used as a pony horse for over a year.
Elio has 1 full season of fox hunting experience with Misty Morning Hounds as a staff horse, where he whipped in consistently. He is great with hounds and extremely brave. He has evented through training level at local schooling shows. He has jumped up to 1.20 at home. Elio is comfortable trail riding alone or with company.
He is currently kept on 24/7 turnout and is easy to handle for grooming, farrier, vet, clipping, hauling, and daily management. He is shod with 4 pads and is UTD on coggins and teeth. He is a forward and bold ride suitable for a gritty young rider or an experienced adult. A 10/10 home is a must!
