Tate has the size, brain, and versatility to make a really special all-around horse.
He has hunted one season First Flight with a farmer pack and is currently hound walking with Green Spring Valley. In the hunt field, Tate is straightforward and uncomplicated. Point him at stone walls, coops, logs, or whatever is in front of him and he goes. He has plenty of get-up-and-go to comfortably ride first field, but still has a great stop and will stand when asked or go to the back of the field with no hesitation. He has lots of experience being a pony horse for ponying children on their ponies. He is well broke and responsive to the rider’s aids. Excellent mouth.
He has excellent ground manners, loads, cross ties, clips, stands, and is easy to handle. He gets along well with other horses, lives out or stalled. Tate is an easy keeper with great feet. He is an exceptionally handsome gelding with plenty of presence.
